Talent Acquisition

Build Your Dream Team
The right person can change what a business is able to do. It may be your first employee in a new market, a sales profile who already knows the region, a hard-to-find specialist, or a leader for the next stage of growth.
TTE helps companies define what they really need, understand the talent market and find candidates who fit both the role and the business.
The objective is not to send more CVs. It is to find the people worth meeting.
The role behind the job title
"Business Development Manager" or "Country Manager" alone does not tell us enough. Before we look for candidates, we ask:
- What does this person need to achieve?
- What will success look like after six or twelve months?
- Which experience is essential, and where can you be flexible?
- Does the role need local relationships?
- What kind of personality will work in your team?
Define the need first. Search second.
A strong profile is more than experience on paper.
01
CAPABILITY
Can the candidate actually do the work?
02
MARKET KNOWLEDGE
Do they understand the environment in which they will operate?
03
MOTIVATION
Why do they want the role and what are they looking for next?
04
ADAPTABILITY
Can they operate effectively across different cultures, teams and ways of working?
05
BUSINESS FIT
Does the candidate make sense for the company’s size, stage and ambitions?
06
EXPECTATIONS
Are responsibilities, seniority, compensation and career expectations aligned?
The role may be international. The talent market is local.
Sometimes the brief changes once the search begins. The right profile may cost more than expected, or have a different job title locally. A candidate with six years' experience and strong local knowledge may be a better fit than one with ten.
That is why we look at the market around the role: candidate availability, salary expectations, notice periods and competitor demand.
For some roles, local knowledge matters as much as technical skills. A sales hire may need to know who the decision-makers are, how relationships are built and how long decisions take.
The search should reflect the real role, not a generic profile.
Different starting points. Different hiring needs.
01
LOCAL COMPANIES
May be strengthening an existing team, adding new expertise or recruiting for the next stage of growth.
02
REGIONAL COMPANIES
May need people who can help them operate effectively in another Middle Eastern market.
03
INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES
May be building their first local team and need candidates who can connect the company’s international culture with the realities of the region. The search changes. The principle does not:
Understand the business first. Then find the person who makes sense within it.
What TTE can support
Depending on the assignment, Talent Acquisition can include:
01
Recruitment briefing
Understanding the role, business context, responsibilities and candidate profile.
02
Talent market perspective
Providing context around candidate availability, expectations and the realities of the search.
03
Candidate sourcing
Identifying relevant profiles through targeted search.
04
Screening
Assessing experience, motivations, expectations and suitability before presentation.
05
Shortlisting
Presenting a focused selection of candidates that genuinely deserve management’s attention.
06
Interview coordination
Supporting the process between the company and shortlisted candidates.
07
Candidate feedback
Keeping communication moving throughout the recruitment process.
08
Selection support
Helping management compare profiles and clarify the final decision where needed. Candidates are making a decision too. Recruitment works in both directions. The company is evaluating the candidate.
The right candidate still needs a reason to choose you.
The hire should make sense beyond the start date.
The objective is to find someone capable of contributing to what the business is trying to achieve next.
That may mean bringing:
- New market knowledge.
- New customer relationships.
- Specialist expertise.
- Leadership capacity.
- Operational experience.
- A capability that did not previously exist inside the company.
